What's stopping you
I've Always believed that a true friend is the one who stays when everyone goes. So, I write these reflections, so that you can keep as long as you want and every time you feel that the road to where you want to be is filled with obstacles, feel that someone, for which you are very important, is with you.
Not only do I write for you, but also for me, thinking aloud, because I believe in me and I believe in you, I believe in the capacity of the human being to overcome the difficulties that in the perception of our mind, we think that they have no solution.
We may not be able to overcome a physical defect, an irreversible disease, because they are issues that are not directly dependent on us, depend on science, genetics, or perhaps ignorance of solutions. But those things that depend only on us, we can overcome them. We can alter the feeling by making it positive or negative, it is a choice, and if we know how to feel with strength to overcome that which has us discouraged, irritated, without desire to live, or that, makes us think we are lost, not we know where the end of the tunnel is, or not even how to walk through, then we will discover that in our interior was the solution, that we were the ones who really put obstacles.
I invite you to think together, sharing our thoughts, I will tell you what I discovered living, reading and talking with people who once in their lives, have felt lost or have not been able to find a way out of a difficult situation, but something, as an inner force, made them see that what they were looking for in things, in people, was in themselves.
If you dare, if you accept my friendship, and be sure that I will only leave you if you want to leave me, and even if you leave me forgotten in the library, I will always be by your side for any time. Because you're very important to me. And you, are you important to yourself?
